KOZY KOLLAR
The Inside Story

1. The Main Seal, which is molded into the underside of, and extends completely around the Roof Collar, will, when pressure is applied compress forming a seal on the irregular surfaces of the roof.
2. Form-A-Gasket, a non-hardening pliable sealant is applied to the caulking channel of the Main Seal. When the Main Seal is compressed, the Form-A-Gasket is forced into any voids not sealed by the Main Seal.
3. The Primary Seal, located along the perimeter of the Roof Collar, extends along both sides and top of the Roof Collar leaving the bottom open for drainage. Once the Kozy Kollar is installed, the Primary Seal forms a snug-fitting gasket that serves two functions: First, divert water run-off from the roof around the Roof Collar; Second, protect the Main Seal from wind rain. What water does get past the Primary Seal simply drains out the bottom of the Roof Collar.
